Great track wow. Love the layout from Arthur Hills here. Finished a solo round in under 2 hours it was great.
Giving this place an 8.2 mostly because I got to play with a Nashville Predator great 1v1 that day (my 30th birthday trip)
Bacon has come a long way in the last couple of years. Greens are fast and have gotten rid of the weed issue that was prevalent. One of my favorite layouts in Savannah across all the public courses. Simple course, fun easy walk. Everything you could ask for at a fair price. Long way to go but with the price to play where it is, hard to complain too much.
For a course trapped in the rolling mountain landscape, I think Mountain Gate does a decent job of making fairly enjoyable routing out of a somewhat limited area  architecturally speaking. The course offers immaculate views of the downtown skyline and all the way out to Palo Verde’s as well as the West LA coastline. There are some corks to the course given where it’s located, and there are some blind shots that require decent amounts of local knowledge. However, I would play here again and I recommend everyone to check it out at least once if they are able to We played the lake and the south nines 
The course is part of a sprawling country club with all sorts of other amenities. Parkland, 18-holes, popular and busy on many days. Although private, access was possible with prior coordination with the club secretary. Great views of the surrounding hills. Best holes actually work up and around a valley between 11-14.
A sneaky cool place, especially with how close it sits to the airport. You constantly have planes landing and taking off, which adds a pretty unique element to the experience. Solid layout and definitely a course where you can make some scores.
South Shore Country Club is a great example of classic New England golf. The course has a traditional feel with rolling fairways, mature trees, and a layout that’s enjoyable without being overly complicated. The greens are surprisingly tough and demand some precision, especially if you find yourself on the wrong side of the hole. I genuinely think if Donald Ross’s name were attached to this course, it would get significantly more play and recognition. Definitely an underrated course on the South Shore that deserves more attention.
In one sentence, you could spend a great day at UTGC and not even play the course. The club house is filled with photos and memorabilia of Texas greats, excellent restaurant and bar, and friendly and welcoming staff. The practice facilities are world class, with a great driving range, simulator bays that hit out onto the range, several chipping and putting areas, and a fun 6 hole short course to settle up any bets. The course is also terrific. A good test of golf without ever feeling unfair. Greens are snappy and quick even in wet conditions when we played. Some of the best overall conditions from tee boxes, fairways, and greens, to bunkers I’ve seen in Texas. The front 9 can put you on the back foot, but you have to attack on the back if you want a good score. With several combo tees, the variety of playing opportunities is impressive. Given the opportunity I’d love to play at UTGC again.
Quick walk on a cold day. Some sand traps filled with water. Good leaf removal in spots. Thick Dee on greens even at mid day. Late October golf though!
The course offers stunning views, although the routing is unconventional and not entirely walkable. Despite these challenges, it remains an enjoyable experience. The greens were freshly overseeded, resulting in a slightly crunchy and slow playing surface. However, if in peak condition, this course would undoubtedly be a top-tier option for the area. The view from the 18th tee is particularly breathtaking.
Lush green course greens not fast or slow very fair. The attraction here are the Augusta National like WHITE SAND BUNKERS.
Great views and scenery, the course itself is fine. Many holes are way too narrow to be playable with the terrain the course is routed through. Bring an extra dozen golf balls and a sense of humor and you’ll have a great day.
Pound Ridge was a beautifully laid out and maintained course. It is incredibly challenging, with undulating fairways, small green complexes and well placed bunkers. The elevation, scenery and strategy make it a very stimulating experience. Walking and carrying our own bags made it a trek, but treated with a bluebird fall day was a delightful experience.
Fun course, limited by a tight property. Always 10/10 conditions, tough greens. Kicks you in the teeth 1-3 with a smooth walk home.
Lengthy but playable resort course with amazing views of the Pacific and lava rock throughout. Greens were receptive as I played ~2 weeks post aeration. #3 and #11 are great par 3’s.
Pure conditions. Fun course with good mixture of hole types. Only complaint is hole #2 poor design nowhere to hit tee shot without leaving long forced carry and trouble everywhere.
