Course Vaults Terms of Service

Welcome to Course Vaults, operated by Andreoni-Group LLC, a company based in California, USA. By accessing or using Course Vaults (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the App.
1. Account Requirements
To access all features of Course Vaults — including rating courses, following other users, and submitting reviews — you must create an account. Public content such as course profiles and user rankings may be browsed without an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Course Vaults. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to Course Vaults, including reviews, rankings, tags, and photos ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Andreoni-Group LLC a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute such content for purposes including, but not limited to, marketing, promotional materials, and in-app display.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You agree not to post or upload content that:
- Is spam, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate
- Contains offensive, hateful, or defamatory material
- Impersonates another person or misrepresents your identity or affiliation
- Infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
We reserve the right to remove any User Content at our sole discretion if it is determined to violate these Terms or our content guidelines.
4. Moderation and Content Management
We do not manually alter or edit reviews submitted by users. However, we reserve the right to:
- Remove reviews, images, or other content that violates these Terms or our content guidelines
- Update or correct course information upon request
- Restrict or remove content deemed inappropriate, misleading, or otherwise harmful to the community
5. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you are found to have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in conduct we determine to be harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked and your User Content may be removed.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at proshop@coursevaults.com. We will process such requests within 30 days.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Course Vaults offers optional paid subscription plans, available on a monthly or annual basis, which provide access to premium features. All subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions, including their refund and billing policies. We do not process payments directly and do not issue refunds outside of Apple's standard policies.
The features included in premium subscription tiers may be updated or modified at our discretion. We will endeavor to communicate significant changes to subscribers in advance.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Course Vaults, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design elements, trademarks, and software comprising the Course Vaults application and website — excluding User Content — are the exclusive property of Andreoni-Group LLC or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary materials without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Andreoni-Group LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from reliance on user-generated content such as course reviews or rankings.
In no event shall our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no representations regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content available through the Service, including user-submitted reviews and rankings.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, we encourage you to contact us first at proshop@coursevaults.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days of receiving your written notice.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, USA. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in those courts.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The date at the top of this document reflects when these Terms were last revised.
14. Changes to the Service
Course Vaults is in active development. Features, layout, and content may change over time. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at our discretion, with or without notice.
